Stefan Freiberg

Stefan Freiberg, the CFO at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, oversees the Chamber’s financial operations, budget management, and the alignment of financial performance with strategy. In addition, he serves as the CFO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Freiberg was the CFO at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). There he was in charge of leading the transformation across finance and operations of the $80 million trade association. He also led strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve member experience, and diversify revenue.

Earlier in his career, Freiberg worked for 15 years at the professional services firm Deloitte, where he was responsible for driving enterprisewide strategic initiatives on behalf of the global COO as well as the U.S. CFO and the CEO.

Freiberg, a graduate of American University, resides in Takoma Park, Maryland, with his wife and two children.
